"I have been filming for over 40 years underwater and used most brands of housings over the years, however the most reliable and rugged housing I have ever used is from Equinox Housings. It is simple to load and unload. It has controls that simply don’t stuff up or leak. The front port, wide angle lens and filters allow me to achieve exceptional HD quality.  The LCD also allows me to easily see what I am filming. There is only one housing brand I recommend and that is Equinox Housings."

"I have had the chance, while filming  underwater around the world, to work  with many  brands of housings. When it came time to owning my own, I went  with Equinox. They simply  gave me the durability, quality and security I  needed for some pretty intense work. It's simple" a wet camera is a ruined  shoot and possibly a loss of hundreds of thousands of  dollars. Equinox  Housings protect me from that."

"The image quality vs. cost combination of the Canon HV30 and HD 6 Equinox housing cannot be beat. The housing is exceptionally well built. It's simple design is both effective and easy to use. By placing the ballast in the wing mounted handles, Equinox has made the HD 6 very stable in the water. I highly recommend the monitor back, which I consider a necessity for shooting video. It's much easier to compose your shots with the monitor then trying to squint through a viewfinder or use a mirror that reverses the image or is washed out from sunlight.

This is a great setup for someone looking to get into uw videography for a relatively small investment up through and advanced amateur shooter who doesn't want to lug a huge rig around while still being able to shoot outstanding images."

"I have used an Equinox housing for the last 10  years. I started with a Pro6 for the Panasonic  dvx100b and last year moved up  to the HD10  for use with the Sony Z7U. I have always  trusted  Equinox  and know that my camera  will always be safe- even in  the toughest  environments. As a Dp for channels such as the  Discovery Channel, VH1, MTV, A&E and many  others, there are no excuses but to get your  job done to the best of your ability. A few  weeks ago, I was out on location shooting and  misplaced the battery packs for the monitor. I  made one call and the next morning a new one  was at my location and Equinox charged it for  me and we didn't miss a beat with our shoot.  Great customer service and a great product.  I will enjoy finding more productions to use my  Equinox HD10 housing! "

"As an underwater cameraman working at a dive shop I use my Equniox housing everyday. I never have to worry about the safety of the camera or the durability of the housing. This along with the great customer service make equinox the perfect choice."
