This Nocturnal Lights SLX 800i Focus Light includes 1 SLX 800i Light Head. Each light has three 3W (9W total) LED bulbs that provide 800 lumens of light . Six alkaline AA batteries power the light for 8-hours of burn time, with a maximum output for a full 2 hours. The LED bulbs run at a cool temperature, so the light can be used above and below the surface.

The 6 AA battery configuration provides low weight and a compact size. The light comes standard with a removable lantern handle. The lantern handle has a 5/16" (8mm) hole that can be used to attach the included Flex Arm Adapter.

The auto-focus system on digital cameras requires a certain amount of light and contrast in-order to focus properly. Underwater this could sometimes be a problem, especially when shooting under ledges or on night dives. The SLX 800i when positioned above your lens port provides enough light and contrast allowing your camera to focus better and faster without any hot spots. The light also allows you to shoot clear and vibrant movies with still cameras that have movie mode. The included Flex Arm Adapter allows you to mount the light directly onto most flex arms.

The 60_ internal diffusers are installed on the light, internal 12_ reflectors, and the 90_ adapters are included. The aluminum housing along with the double o-ring seal and shockproof LEDs makes the SLX 800i extremely durable even under the most extreme conditions. You never have to worry about the light turning on in your dive bag because of the switch lock. All of these features make the Nocturnal Lights SLX 800i a practical and convenient light for all your imaging applications. 

*Note the SLX 800i Focus Light and Video Lights are the same light. The new SLX 800i outputs enough power for high-end video light systems and can be used interchangeably as a focus light. The beam is wide and smooth, allowing photographers to shoot pictures in the toughest conditions without any showing any hot spots. At the same time it offers you the option to use it as a video light if you have video recording features on your camera.
